Local College in Leicestershire

A local college refectory were storing food within upright storage chillers and freezers that were failing due to the high heat dump temperatures created within the small room in which they were located, working alongside one of our refrigeration partners we are asked to replace the aging units with a walk in dual compartment Chiller-Freezer coldroom, the installation resolved the issue with the positioning of the condensing unit external of the building and in turn creating more chilled and frozen storage for the client. 

The insulated panel of choice was Kingspan QuadCore with an insulated floor in a Hexa finish. 

 

The installed shelving was a modular type with a vented design of shelve that encourages good airflow to prevent odours and extend the lifespan of perishable foods, the shelving promotes easy cleaning through the use of removable inserts (machine washable up to +100°C)
